Colin Fairweather - Director of Golf
I have been PGA Advanced Professional with over 20 years experience coaching golfers of all levels, golf course management, retail, coaching, club fitting and golf operations. I started my golf career at Ratho Park GC, before moving to Essex , working in several busy clubs. I then moved to Mentmore G&CC near Woburn as Director of Golf. I moved back to Scotland, at Kirkintilloch Gc before taking up position here at Longniddry GC East Lothian. Its a real pleasure to work in East Lothian at this great club and I am determined to improve all services at the club as well as the golf course. My team and myself look forward to welcoming you to the club.

Fraser Johnston - Senior PGA Assistant Professional
I have been a member here at Longniddry Golf Club since 2004 where I have represented the club in many junior and mens team events. I have been at university in America for the last 5 years where I attended Georgia Southwestern and graduated with a degree in Business Management. I received a scholarship and played college golf for four years and for the last year I was the Assistant Golf Coach of Georgia Southwestern university golf team. Being a member of the club for so long it its great to now be apart of the Professional shop team and I am excited to provide a great service to all our members and visiting parties.

Mathew Foot - Trainee PGA Assistant Professional
I have been a member of Longniddry Golf Club since 2010. I have achieved many things within the club as a junior member. I have played in an international competition in Florida playing at two top end courses in a Ryder Cup event which was a two-day competition at TPC Sawgrass and North Hampton. I also had the pleasure of being Junior Captain in my last year which was a great experience to see the junior section thrive in the league. I achieved coaching badges for the Club Golf Programme, which I am now running myself as a Junior Academy. I aim to have a junior section that will be keen and enthusiastic to play regularly in competition. The intention of working alongside the Junior Convener closely to work on the team events also. To be offered a job at your home club is a privilege and I intend to do my best for the club and have the intention of bringing a young audience into the club as the next generation of golfers. I am excited for the coming years and delighted to be part of the professional shop team.
