Not good enough

Colin and Frasers latest match against Alan Muirhead and Graeme Girvan did not go the way we planned.

It was a scrappy affair with none of us palying great golf. Probably the best play was from Alan who drove the ball really good.

The Pros were up after 11 and as usual the problems started from there as the duo entered into their holes with shots.

An incredible up and down from the woods left on 13 from Graeme then a 4 for 3 signalled a loss in form from the Pros and they lost easily 3-1. Tough pair to beat, but the Pros game was not there this time.

We will need to lie low and find some form after this one before challenging the next pair.

2 losses and 2 halve matches against this pair!! Always a good alugh though!!

Time to update your wedges?

That moment when you pitch the ball close to the pin and stop it on a dime for a tap-in putt is like no other. It dramatically reduces your score whilst looking awesome. As with all shots, it requires both technique and confidence, not to mention wedges with sharp grooves.

A recent survey highlighted that a third of golfers carry wedges that are over five years old. We appreciate that everyone has a club or two in their bag that they love but grooves will gradually deteriorate over time.
