Tour News Exciting golf tournaments at the weekend on the European, PGA and LPGA Tours. I watched quite a bit of the World Golf championship from Mexico. Not as long a course as normal events at 7330 yards, and with the also ball flying 10% further there due to sea level heights but it produced an exciting finish and shows a great course is design not just length. Tyrrell Hatton battled on the back nine tremendously, but fell at the last. Justin Thomas finish was unbelievable, but Mickelson showed his class and won again at the age of 47. Still playing amazing golf!! Hatton has that fire and determination which he gets stick for, but he produces some brilliant Golf. Not sure I would change what he is doing, It's working!
The Masters
Hatton to me looks a great each way bet at the Masters, which is only a month away.
My Masters bets have been pretty good the last two seasons:
2017 backed - Sergio Garcia - 1st - Paul Casey - 6th 2016 backed - Danny Willett - 1st - Paul Casey - 6th I did well the last two years, but before that the last bet I got right there was Jose Maria Olazabal in 1999 so don’t listen to me.
One month away yet, but it will soon come around. Hopefully we will get some golf towards the end of this week.
